MEMBERSHIP & MEETING SPECIALIST
You have a bachelor's degree and 2-plus years administrative-support or project management experience, enabling you to provide amazing support to chief staff executives and volunteer leaders. In a fast-paced and fascinating environment, you manage and maintain databases, respond to member inquiries, create relevant website and email content, develop and manage websites and coordinate meeting preparation.
You have 5-plus years professional meeting/event planning and execution and excel at providing day-to-day administrative and project management support for multiple national meetings, large-scale conferences and other events for a variety of clients simultaneously. You sweat the details, live to make budget and are calm under the twin pressures of deadlines and customer demands.
Executive director / Chief Staff Executive
You have 8-plus years management experience and thrive on providing wise counsel to boards and other volunteer leaders. As a trusted adviser to our nonprofit clients, you are the consummate professional who excels both at knowing how to read a balance sheet and managing to a strategic plan. You respect the board's responsibility to govern just as directors respect your ability to manage.
You are numbers- and spreadsheet-oriented, and you work collaboratively with volunteer leaders and staff to ensure the timely and accurate production of income statements, balance sheets, budgets and benchmarking reports. You do your best to make sure nothing gets by you, and you tweak systems to ensure the delivery of the most up-to-date data possible.
